A tennis ball hangs in the air just after bouncing on the clay. The court holds a clear mark of where it landed, leaving little doubt about the call - unlike grass.

The countless particles of clay lifted into the air during play are beautiful and inevitable, yet players rarely have time to notice them. I wanted to slow down this fleeting moment and give attention to the details that usually disappear in the rhythm of play.
